SPECIAL CONVENTION COVERAGE -- Kucinich Press Gaggle

My second press conference of the convention was a step up  from the Gravel gaggle.  There is no question about Kucinich's confidence.  I am not talking about his chances for winning the Presidency, but the fact that his wife is at least 4 feet taller than him. Kucinich used his time to call for the impeachment of VP Cheney.  When asked why not Bush, he  argued that  it wouldnt be productive because that would only result in a Cheney presidency.  True but I still dont get it.  Yes getting rid of Cheney would offer some satisfaction, but why bother if it still leaves Bush in the White House?  Although give Kucinich high marks for his strong anti-war creds, he is definitely out there on the fringe.  Although maybe not with this crowd.  The hallway chants for "prison chain Bush" were a little scary.  Kucinich also needs a slogan - something to ralley people around.  I suggested "Small man with big ideas and tall wife," but his campaign staff didnt take to it. Although they might have been a little to baked to focus on it.   More from the floor later <>
