The American Leadership Project, a California based 527 lead by a pair of folks the CA-blogosphere knows something about, Roger Salazar and Jason Kinney, is alive again.  It had been quiet after posting after some half-hearted attempts at media buys in Ohio and Indiana.

Well, they birthed 2 new ads, one for Montana and one for Puerto Rico. Not sure on the ad buy for these, but for context, in Ohio they had some ads up on YouTube for weeks and only got them on the air for the last couple days. (h/t TPM)

According to sources close the group, the American Leadership Project, a pro-Hillary Clinton independent expenditure campaign affiliated with two California Majority Report publishers, is increasing its media buy in the battleground state of Indiana by another $200K today –- for a total spent of $1.1 million. The Hoosier State's Tuesday, May 6 primary is probably the most contested race left in the election calendar, with Clinton currently holding a narrow but statistically significant lead over Senator Barack Obama based on the aggregate Pollster.com numbers.

The American Leadership Project, the Pro-Hillary Clinton 527 that CMR publishers Roger Salazar and Jason Kinney are affiliated with, is devoting at least $300,000 to an ad buy in Pennsylvania, Politico.com reports. They spent $500,000 in Texas during the crucial final days of her successful campaign in the state -- a campaign, incidentally, managed in the Lone Star State by CMR contributor Ace Smith. Not that we're counting. David Axelrod is cool too, and more than welcome to make a guest post anytime he likes.

The American Leadership Project, which includes CMR co-publishers Jason Kinney and Roger Salazar and is funded primarily by donors in organized labor, is running a new ad in the state of Texas today and tomorrow morning. It was produced by Mattis Goldman of SeeChange Media and can be seen here.

There are re-ports that several leading California Democrats are behind a new advocacy group campaign that's set to run in Ohio. We'll have more soon (since two of the three publishers of CMR apparently are behind it), but in the interim, here's the positive video that's up on YouTube.
