The LA Times blog analyzes Hillary Clinton's surrenderon Saturday for other messages the Senator could be sending. "All threeof the Clintons are perfectly dressed -- for a funeral."
The state assembly has approved a bill that allows 16- and 17-year-olds to preregister to vote. Excuse me: Democrats in the assembly approved the bill. Not a single Republican voted for it.
The Sacramento Bee has a story on the disabled access bill and reactions to it. "Critics say the plan is too broad – and so conciliatory it won't accomplish much of anything."

Leading California Edwards Backer Jumps to Clinton

With Sen. John Edwards departure from the presidential race yesterday, all eyes are on where his California supporters will go. According to today's Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles trial lawyer Tom Girardi, one of the state's most politicially active attorneys, is throwing his support to Senator Clinton.
The Clintons "have taken an important role in the protection of people, and Hillary has a proven track record," Girardi told the Journal.

"Hillcam" Offers New Internet View of President Campaign

Here's something that might be fun to watch: Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign will have a behind-the-scenes look at the Clintons’ 4th of July trip through Iowa next week with a "The HillCam."
According to a press release, the HillCam will follow Hillary and Bill Clinton as they travel from Des Moines to Davenport, capturing their spontaneous and unscripted moments. Taking supporters beyond the soundbites, the HillCam will offer an unvarnished look at the Clintons’ first joint-campaigning of the 2008 race.
