It has been far too long since I posted some music, so, here is the video for Neil Young's song, "Let's Impeach The President":
This song is from Neil Young's album, "Living With War." A great record if you have not heard it.

Woody Guthrie
by DFA Staff [courtesy of Blog for America]
It has been a bit since I posted some music, so, here is Woody Guthrie performing "This Land is Your Land":
The powers that be have a lot invested in destroying the idea of government of the people, by the people, and for the people. That is a founding concept of our country and one of the most fundamental and important ideas in human history.
Full lyrics after the jump.

by Brian Leubitz [courtesy of Calitics - Front Page]
Yeah, I was raised Jewish, but now have a Christmas tree. I'm not one to judge, but for whatever holiday you celebrate, have a good one.

As Christmas arrives, the message and wish for peace is even stronger.
Here is a classic flashback of history made in pop music.
Two very different generations coming together with one excellent message.
Enjoy!

Hillary Clinton Campaigns to the Music
[courtesy of The California Majority Report]
Last week, Senator Hillary Clinton committed herself to people-powering the audiophilic portion of her campaign by allowing you, the everyday working stiff with a broadband connection, to vote for her official campaign song. Well, the first round of voting is complete, and the 2008 presidential election's 2nd best campaign ad is born.
She's been accused of stiffness in the past, but if you've ever dreamed of seeing the former First Lady groove to *ahem* Celine Dion, you must tune in at the 48 second mark.
As a rule, I don't endorse on CMR, but on this I will make an exception. For the love of everything holy, vote early and often for "Get Ready" by the Temptations. I'm undoubtedly going to sit through a handful of Hillary events through at least February, and the constant 'are you ready to soft rock?' tones of KT Tunstall and Shania Twain can only drive me to Mike Gravel levels of insanity.
