Below the fold is the final report from the Platform Committee that will be presented tomorrow in General Session.  Once it is approved, this will be the official platform of the California Democratic Party.

Thank you to everyone who commented and who helped make this the strongest statement of what it means to be a Democrat in California!

Below the fold is the lastest version of the 2008 CDP Platform.  The Platform Committee has been working on this document for about a year now, and we have had a great deal of input and comments from Democrats over that year.  Whether it was by e-mail, attending one of the regional meetings, or attending one of the hearings held at E-boards and the Convention, hundreds of people have provided us invaluable input into making this document a consensus document reflecting the issues that California's Democrats care about and agree on the most.  

My thanks to everyone as well, who helped us get this put together so quickly.
