Even when times are good, it's hard to believe that corporate CEOs can look you in the eye and tell you that they've truly earned their outrageous $10 million, $50 million, $100 million or more pay packages.

And right now, times aren't good.

But this week I saw another round of stories on corporate CEOs getting multi-million dollar "bonuses" even as their companies lose millions of dollars.

In an admittedly unscientific online poll at the Marin Independent Journal's website, Mark Leno is leading Joe Nation by a wide margin.  Leno has 66.7 percent of the vote to Nation's 27.5 percent.  

In the "is she really still here?" category, Carole Migden registers a whopping 5.8 percent.

   These two disastrous Bush terms will leave the U.S. in a record deficit and the Repugs supported all the policies that led to it. Yet the Rethuglican candidate ( McBu$hCo) will trot out that same old "Tax and Spend" Democrats crap in the campaign. We're already starting to hear it. Pres Bill Clinton (Democrat) was handed a big deficit run up by Daddy George H.W. Bush (Republican.) Clinton (Democrat) not only balanced the inherited budget mess, but handed a huge surplus to Junior George "Dumbya" Bush (Republican.) Look what Dumbya did to that surplus! Topped Daddy's deficit by light years!

   When the Rethugs trot out that same old and tired "Tax and Spend Democrats" crap again, this time the Dems should point this out and hit right back with "The Borrow and Spend" a whole lot more Republicans! It seems the Rethuglican Conservaturds can't be honest about anything these days! Get tough Dems, and learn to counter punch back effectively in the Nov. 08 general election. This is where Kerry blew it when he was Swift Boated in 04. He took their punches but didn't punch back nearly enough. The Truth is on your side Dems. Don't let the truth be defeated by spin and lies this time in Nov. 08!

Hello, Ya'a'teeh:

 I did it, I am running for McKinley County Clerk. I review the requirements to run for office, and I qualified. I want to thank all the individuals who help me out with your help.

No since that I am new to politics, and running a campaign, where do I began from. I also wanted to ask for your advices in hosting a possible "Fundraiser". What is needed, and so forth. By the way do you think I qualify for a  endorsement for DFA? I was just wondering.. Again thank you for your advices.

As astonishing as it sounds, if you follow the GOP "logic" on the Protect America Act expiration, this is the only truly logical conclusion. Do these guys actually listen to themselves?
