Wednesday Hunterdon DFA - Calling ALL Democratic Activists!
by Rosi Efthim [courtesy of Blog for America]
What would it take... to organize target voters in your neighborhood? What would happen if somebody simply went and ...talked to them? Who might get elected? How would affect 2008? The War? Health care? Linda Stender's chances? Would things change?
These are the questions at the heart of a big experiment we're launching Wednesday night, where DFA activists & local Dems will unite to talk strategy. Calling ALL Democratic Activists - RSVP here!
21-County Strategy: If you've heard about the Democratic Party's 50-State Strategy, you might wonder if it extends to Republican-dominated Hunterdon County. And yes, it does. Slam-dunk.

The CDP November 2007 Resolutions
by Brian Leubitz [courtesy of Calitics - Front Page]
They are now available here at cadem.org. They're posted on the front page of cadem.org, but they won't always be so easy to find, so I recommend bookmarking or something like that. Here's a TinyURL.
Anyway, the resolutions run the gamut from removing the National Guard from Iraq to supporting LED lighting. Over the flip, you'll find the complete list with links to each resolution. Anything of interest to you? Comments appreciated.

COUNCILWOMAN Linda Mastellone!
by Rosi Efthim [courtesy of Blog for America]

Congratulations to Linda Mastellone - Hunterdon DFA's first homegrown local candidate - elected tonight to Flemington Borough Council. WIth her win, the Democrats take control in the Hunterdon County seat.
Congratulations too ... to the many Hunterdon DFA members who showed up today to drive Linda's win, and showed up over & over for weeks to provide the boots on the ground that introduced Linda to the voters. Thanks to those of you who wrote checks!
What's extraordinary ... is how DFA members took possession of this race, whether you lived in Flemington, or Lebanon, Union Twp., Clinton Twp., Califon, Raritan Twp.... Even Somerset & Middlesex counties (wow). You made Linda's win a priority, and you are extraordinary.
GOTV weekend kicked off with high-energy with DFA Chair Jim Dean and our own Linda Stender. And from now on, every win - like Linda Mastellone's, like Richard Kuhrt's in Raritan Twp. and Melonie Marano's win as Somerset Freeholder - cracks open opportunity for us to elect Stender to Congress in 2008. That's what you've done.

DFA Chair Jim Dean & Linda Stender - Saturday!
by Rosi Efthim [courtesy of Blog for America]
Saturday at noon - Join us for pizza, then ...
Hit the Streets with DFA Chair Jim Dean & our future Congresswoman Linda Stender! in support of NJ for Democracy (DFA) - endorsed Linda Mastellone & her running-mates Joey Novick and Loretta Borowsky for Flemington Council, and the Hunterdon Dem team.

Something's going on in these red counties ... ya feel it?
Fighting spirit. We're not conceding a single vote. That translates to wins in places like Hunterdon, where we're poised to elect solid progressives in the county seat of Flemington. Anb where we're about to elect the first Democrat to county office in a generation, when Bruce Cocuzza wins his race for Hunterdon Sheriff. All over the county, winds are shifting our way. But this local movement needs you to drive it home - Yes, I mean, you. You know you've got it in you.
Tired of Republican one-party rule around here? This is your call to action!
